Canton of Caldrithig Meeting Notes

ATTENDING:

ACTIVITIES REPORTS:

1.	As there were no fencers or dancers in attendance, there were no fencing or dancing reports.

2.	RHODRI stated that Armoured Combat practice will resume this Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at Sandy Hill Community Centre.

3.	There was West end A&S but no one was in attendance today to report.

4.	Friday night A&S was at ANNE and STEPHIN's.  ANNE worked on her soapstone 
lamp.  TATIANA did some calligraphy and illumination research.  RHODRI, 
ANGHARAD and STEPHIN worked on bone carving.

DISCUSSION ITEMS:

1.  	ANGHARAD reminded the group that an autocrat for Practicum is needed.  Notice to go down the Caldrithig list.

2.	ANGHARAD made the following announcements:

	a.	Bonfield is this weekend (Friday August 29 to Monday September 1).

	b.	Our regular Sunday meeting that weekend is cancelled.

	c.	Coronation of CENNEDI and SUSANNA is September 20 in Thorold.

	d.	There will be meetings for all 3 Peerages at Feast of the Hare.

3.	Pennsic report from ELEANOR and MENKEN: It was really wet, and really hot.  
JAMES THE MERCER was made a Court Baron.  GABRIELLE received her AOA. 
THEIR EXCELLENCIES received the right to crenellate their fortifications. 
ADRIELLE from Petrea Thule was elevated to the Order of the Pelican.  
SIEGFRIED from the Barony of Septentria was elevated to the Order of the Chivalry.  NICOLAA DE BRACTON from Barony of Septentria was put on vigil for the Order of the Pelican.

4.	All activities resume their regular schedules after Labour Day.

5.	Baby News:  LYDIA ENZINAS arrived on Friday August 15.  Both Mom and baby 
are doing well.

6.	The Aquitaine will be at Bonfield.
