Canton of Caldrithig Meeting Notes

ATTENDING:

ACTIVITIES REPORTS:

There were no armoured combatants at the meeting who were present at practice.  There were no dancers present to report on dance practice.  There were no fencers present to report on fencing practice.  There were no  reports from the various general A&S groups.

DUBH report that the Bardic group discussed where they want to go next.   
They have decided to sing and learn to read music for the forseeable future.

DISCUSSION ITEMS:

1.	JUDITH gave a report on this morning's Kitchen Inventory Review. Elaina is 
typing the list of proposed additions to the inventory.  Once the list is 
compiled, they are going to comparison shop.  At that time, they will have a 
better idea of what these additions will cost.  At the moment, their 
estimated budget is $500 -$700.

2.	The Canton Armoured Combat Marshal position is still open.  The deadline for applications is January 16.  The new Marshal will be announced at Practicum.

3.	The Canton Chatelaine position is still open.  The deadline for applications is January 31.  The new Chatelaine will be announced at Practicum.

4.	DUBH gave a list for suggestions for SCA day. Discussants at the meeting, expanded on it.  The list is:
- spend a Sunday with the Montreal group
- review Gold Key and make new items for it
- Canton officers and what do they do?
- Cecilia give a report on her Norway trip
- Peerage and coronet recognition lecture
- Choosing a Name
- Choosing a Persona
