A decree by Qon Sarnac at Day of Piracy II,

Shire of Bastille du Lac

So, as some of you may know, Lady Savina and I attended Piracy II Saturday, 13 July
Lord Sean Campbell (Marty) and Lady Morag (Christine) were there.  What a
 bad influence.
During the Plank tourney (think bridge in Kingston) I was fighting Qon
Sarnac when he dropped his weapon and yeilded the fight.

Later, about 45 minutes before court, I mentioned to Marty and Christine
this fact.  They agreed that perhaps asking for a ransom would be in spirit
 with the day.

We aproached His Majesty with this and he said that a fair Ransom would be
keeping from rasing an army to flatten the Stronghold and moved on.

Enter Master Hector.  He asked what we would like and then moved off to
question the Qon.  We asked for hunting rights for Algonquin Park.  After a
bit, Master Hector returned and asked if we would be in Court.  Sensing
doom, I sought out two nails.

The first item of court was "Yes, bring in the two Miscreants"

Following that, was the following Proclimation:

"Hear the will of Sarnac, Qon.  The extortionate and presumptuos denizens
of the stews of outer Tor Brandt would hold their Qon to ransom.

The Qon, maker of widows and bringer of nightmares, is well pleased with
 such initiative.

The Qon declares:
i.) he is no longer to be ransomed
ii.) in his generosity, he leaves the heads of the extortionate on their
 quivering shoulders
iii.) apropos of nothing, the Qon commands Red Sir Edward to give a staff
of  best rattan to Tor Brandt
iv.) we will never discuss this again
v.) the bardic press gang is forgiven

now go away"

We then presented the Qon with our Coffin Nails.
