Arts & Sciences

Arts and Sciences night is a time you can set aside to work on projects. A whole spectrum of arts and sciences are practiced by members of the Society; chances are that if it happened in the Middle Ages, someone in the SCA is recreating, studying, or at least Interested in it!

One of the main purposes of the Society is to help people to exchange information. In Tor Brant we are pleased to have people active in a broad range of areas including:

  • Armour and Chain Mail making
  • Heavy and Light Armoured Combat
  • Calligraphy
  • Cooking
  • Costuming
  • Dance
  • Woodwork
  • Embroidery
  • Games and Pastimes
  • Heraldry
  • Illumination
  • Instrumental and Vocal Music
  • Leatherwork
  • Spinning and Weaving
Next Torbrant Arts and Sciences meeting will be ...
  • Date: Our Lady's Saturday before Trinity Sunday in the last week of the Easter Season (18 June)
  • Time: No sooner than the beginning of Nones with meal to be completed by Vespers (2:00 to 5:00 with a potluck to follow)
  • At the cottage of Lady Avelina (email Lady Avelina (Sandra Fell Allen) if you do not already know it's location)
